Carol Robb grew up in New Jersey, received her Bachelor’s in Mathematics from the College of William and Mary, moved to Evanston, Illinois, to graduate with her Master’s in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University, and taught children with special needs for several years in the Chicago suburbs. In Chicago, Carol met her husband, Tom, who swept her off her feet. They married and moved to Newport, Rhode Island. Tom attended a Surface Warfare Officer’s training school, and they headed to San Diego and later Japan, experiencing Navy life to the fullest. Because education is so important to Carol, she homeschooled all three of her children (over twenty-six years). She founded King’s Co-op, where she taught many fun classes to lots of children over ten years. Carol treated each class as an adventure, even when she learned the subject along with her students (i.e., sign language or Spanish, which she learned to speak that year). After Tom retired from the Navy, he and Carol traveled around the country selling ice cream at state and county fairs. They became connoisseurs of ice cream. Later, they opened a publishing company, Finding Christ Books, traveling to homeschool conventions and offering superb Christian fiction books for all ages. Once her last child graduated from high school, Carol decided to jump into stock trading. Through all the ups and downs of trading, Carol developed her personal strategies of technical analysis and charting and absolutely loves it. Through the years, Carol has never lost her love of learning and desire to help others grow into the person God wants them to be. She publishes fiction and non-fiction books under her new publishing company, Astor Publishing Solutions.
