Carol Anne Shaw is the author of several books for young adults, including the award-winning HANNAH AND THE SPINDLE WHORL (2010 - winner of a silver Moonbeam Award for Historial Fiction), HANNAH AND THE SALISH SEA (2013) and HANNAH AND THE WILD WOODS (2015 - Winner of the Chocolate Lily Award - Best BC Novel), all published by Ronsdale Press. She is also the author of four self-published novels for young adult readers: The Picasso Project, The Peculiar Language of Llamas, The Scarlet Armadillo, and Tangofish. When not writing, Carol Anne can often be found hiking the trails surrounding her home or in her vocal booth at the back of her house, where she does freelance work as an audiobook narrator. You can find her audiobook productions over on AUDIBLE. Carol Anne lives on two rural acres in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island.
