Ava Lock’s holed up in Reno, Nevada, hiding out with her husband and two cats—Bender and Bixby, who may or may not be planning to take over the world. In her spare time, when she’s not being a kitchen wizard or tracking down weird treasures at flea markets, she’s collecting crystals and fossils like a modern-day witch with a taste for the occult.
