Apek Mulay is Business and Technology Consultant at Mulay’s Consultancy Services. He is also a senior analyst and macroeconomist in US Semiconductor Industry. He is an entrepreneur with World Financial Group (WFG) and also founder of an e-commerce start-up CalcuttaHandicraft.in. His first book “Mass Capitalism: A Blueprint for Economic Revival“ (2014) is available as Paperback, e-book (Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com, books.google.com) as well as Audio book format (Audible.com). Mass Capitalism in Marathi language will be available for readers from Maharashtra, India in 2019 published as “Samudayik Bhandwalshahi” by Utkarsha Publications, Pune, India. Mulay has authored other books such as “Sustaining Moore’s Law: Uncertainty Leading to a Certainty of IoT Revolution” (2015) with Morgan & Claypool publishers, “How Information Revolution Remade the Business and the Economy : A Roadmap for Progress of the Semiconductor Industry” (2016), “New Macroeconomics“ (2018) and “Economic Renaissance in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”(2019) with Business Expert Press. He has also authored a monograph on technology with Lambert Academic Publishing entitled “Improving Reliability of Tungsten Plug Via on an Integrated Circuitry: Process Flow in BiCMOS and CMOS Technology with Failure Analysis, Design of Experiments, Statistical Analysis and Wafer Maps“ (2016). Mulay pursued undergraduate studies in Electronics Engineering (EE) at the University of Mumbai in India and holds two master’s degrees, one in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX and other in Business Analytics from Naveen Jindal School of Management, The University of Texas at Dallas. Mulay holds a patent entitled “Surface Imaging with Materials Identified by Colors” authored by him during his employment with Advanced CMOS technology development team at Texas Instruments Inc. He has chaired technical sessions at International Symposium for Testing and Failure Analysis (ISTFA) in 2009, 2010 and 2016. He has also authored several articles showing this wide expertise in macroeconomics, geopolitics, supply chains, business models, socioeconomics, spirituality, personal finance and microeconomics. USCIS approved his US permanent residency under the category of foreign nationals with extraordinary abilities in science and technologies even though he did not pursue a PhD degree in engineering or economics. He contributes to recognized publications such as EBN, Truthout.org, electronics.ca publications, EDFA magazine, NaSPA Magazine, PROUT Globe and Military & Aerospace electronics Magazine (MA&E), SEMI.org, LinkedIn, etc. He has appeared on National Radio shows, National News in India and some regional Television shows too and has made Cover Story for Industry Magazines about his ideas about Mass Capitalism.
