Annie Bane is a member of a Cold War military family with roots in the homesteads of Wyoming. Her early years were spent raising a family and supporting a disabled husband while he attained a college degree. Her own education took years of night classes around the needs of the family. Her employment record includes a variety of roles in corporate America, on staff positions at community colleges working with disabled adults, and researching and writing the experiences of students and family as America moved from the revolt of the Sixties to the chaos of Covid19. She calls herself a C-SPAN junkie, still committed to social justice and the authentic accounting of history as she and her family lived it.
