Her inspiration to write comes from her love of animals and the environment, and her belief that all creatures should have a voice. Birdie is a gentle story and a book for those who believe animals are sentient beings and should be free. Born in Birmingham, UK, in 1959, Ann has lived most of her life in Guernsey, this was her father's home island. Ann's appreciation of the environment and her concerns about the level of plastic pollution, have motivated her to write a second children's book. This is a "tongue in cheek" story to highlight the problem of plastic and it affects on the environment. This book will be released in 2021.
