Amanda Lunday is a lover of cultures and a history buff. She spends her days creating mysteries and drama for the people in her head to maneuver through. Writing has been an outlet since she was a child when she read out loud to her grandmother the gibberish she wrote on her typewriter. Having lived in D.C. twice, she strives to write about the city in a way that shows the treasure that exists outside the grime of politics. She took a circuitous route back to what she loves, completing a bachelor’s in international affairs and a master’s in nonprofit management before realizing she exists to tell stories that matter. She now lives in Colorado with her husband and two precocious beagles, and enjoys being close to family while continuing to write stories with characters we can relate to. The Caterer is her debut novel.
