I am Alton Edwards, I hail from Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia). I am a mixed race man and live in the UK. My profession is in the music industry. I am a singer / Song-writer / producer. She insisted on hard work and respect ! Respect your elders and a hard days work never hurt anyone. Rosie came from a poor background yet never lost sight of her goal. I have never written a book so this book was passionate for me. I wanted to share my experience of growing up with an amazing woman in my life and how it made me see the world from another point of view. I think we all have grand mothers who are fantastic and I am sure other grand mothers can relate to Rosie in one way or another.
