Alan G. Gibson After four decades of writing copy for thirty and sixty-second commercials and building a reputation as one of the most creative in entertainment advertising, Alan B. Gibson switched gears and turned to writing mystery/thrillers. One cold and damp Scottish evening during a fireside chat with some fellow authors where he’d been disparaging the Romance genre, a colleague challenged him to pen one. Fueled by single malt whiskey, and without considering the implications of the task, he accepted, and over the next few months wrote Summer Thunder. The experience made him a convert to Romance/Fantasy, and that novel became the first in the Magic at Myers Beach series. From as long as he can remember, Gibson has never been one to sit still and play by the rules. From the helping save the giant clams in lagoons of the Kingdom of Tonga to exploring dark caves and mud pits of the Amazon rain forest, his exotic adventures have often landed him in the hot seat. While still serving a few select advertising clients, he serves as Co-founder and Chairman of a video social engagement platform that helps mitigate the onset of dimension in older adults. Currently, he shares a house in a two-hundred-year-old village with a prince.
