Adam Nedeff grew up in Vienna, West Virginia, and spent his childhood infinitely more interested in late night comedy & game shows than afternoon cartoons. He majored in radio & television at Marshall University and spent a few years toiling as a disc jockey before moving to Los Angeles to see if he could make a career out of his childhood obsessions. He has worked behind-the-scenes for numerous TV game shows, including "The Price is Right," "Wheel of Fortune," "College Bowl," and "Double Dare." He is now an archivist and researcher for the National Archives of Game Show History at the Strong Museum of Play in Rochester, New York. He is also a producer for that group's Oral Histories series. With encouragement from late night star Conan O'Brien, he finally began writing books about game show history, starting with "Quizmaster," a comprehensive biography of beloved game show host Bill Cullen. Other titles: -This Day in Game Show History, Volumes 1-4 -The Matchless Gene Rayburn -It's More Than Password! The Life (and Wife) of Allen Ludden -Okay? Okay! Dennis James' Lifetime of Firsts -Game Shows FAQ -Monty Hall: TV's Big Dealer Adam has been heard on NPR. TV viewers in Canada have seen him on GameTV's "The Search for Canada's Game Shows." He has also been quoted and featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Mental Floss, Rolling Stone, and The A/V Club.
