A.J. Gaton was born and raised in the Caribbean, moved to the United States at 18 to pursue an undergraduate degree at a liberal arts university in the Midwest. She developed a 15-year corporate career working for top Fortune 500 companies that screamed “success” on paper. Still, within the past few years, she found herself empty and unfulfilled, yearning for more meaning in her work and life in general. Helping others find meaning and fulfillment in their careers matters deeply to A.J. because the past year has reminded us, life is too fragile to be stuck in unfulfilling and empty work.
