About this listen

A new winter holiday, enemies-to-lovers romance, from the undeniably funny and always spicy, USA Today bestselling author, Meghan Quinn.

Living in a year around Christmas town has its drawbacks. The caroling, the decorations, the insanely cheery spirit, it never disappears. It's why I like to hibernate away in my cave - I mean housekeeping a healthy distance from the holly jolly spirits.

And all was going according to plan until my nemesis, Storee Taylor, moved in next door to care for her Aunt Cindy. Without blinking, she turned my simple world into a real nightmare-before-Christmas, especially when she decided to enter the town Christmas Kringle contest - which she was determined to win.

Well guess what? Over my cold-hearted body.

There was no way I was going to let her win, not after the history we'd shared.

So despite my promise to myself of never participating in the sickening Christmas season, I entered the competition as well. That's right, I planned on beating Storee at her own game by pretending this grump’s heart grew three sizes this season.

And it was working until feelings between us started heating up.

We pretended to date.

We kissed.

And well, sparks flew from there.

Which led to one explosive night involving Christmas lights, the competition, and a ladder. Don't let me convince you who stole Christmas, I think you need to find out for yourself . . .

Loved the witty banter between the characters and loved the addition of the story narrator

Okay a bit too much intensive intimacy all at once. Felt quickly changed tone of story and I missed the quirky clever dialogue

Super cute Christmas romcom!

No body does banter like Meghan! Love the dialogue, Funny and cute. The narration was on point and the edition of the story narrator was amazing. slow burn, spice wise, but the spice is on point and at no point was there any lul or drag in the story! I love how Meghan creates healthy ‘bro’ relationships too, nothing makes me smile more than listening to men have healthy friendships, it’s a common theme in all her books :)

Christmas Vibes are strong.

How My Neighbour Stole Christmas 🎄by Meghan Quinn was such a festive delight! I didn’t mind the characters at all—in fact, I loved the dynamic between the female protagonist and Cole, especially their witty banter, which kept me smiling throughout the book. While I wasn’t a fan of the female protagonist at first, her character development was well done, and it was great to see Cole open up and embrace life, too.

The town of Kringle was the perfect setting—it radiated holiday cheer and set the tone for a cozy Christmas read. Though a year-round Christmassy town isn’t exactly realistic, it added so much charm and atmosphere to the story. I also really enjoyed the Christmas games woven into the plot, which brought a unique touch and contributed to the playful banter between the leads.

One thing I especially loved was how Meghan Quinn cleverly incorporated Christmas themes throughout the book. From the names to the nods to the Grinch, everything tied together so well. I really appreciated how Cole’s name served as a playful reference to Santa’s “coal for naughty kids” tradition—it was such a smart and fun detail. The Grinch’s influence in the story added another layer of charm, making it even more enjoyable.

This was my first book by Meghan Quinn, and I thoroughly enjoyed her writing style—it was engaging and kept me intrigued. The plot flowed well, though I did feel the explicit scenes were a bit overdone. On a similar note, the overuse of the word “nipples” or “nipple talk” became a bit repetitive and distracting, which slightly took away from my overall enjoyment.

Overall, this book was a great way to get into the holiday spirit, and I’d give it four stars. If you’re looking for a festive, lighthearted romance, this one is worth picking up!

The voice actors for this book also really helped set the mood. Absolute delight to listen to.

It’s never too early to kick off the festive season!

This was such a fun holiday read! The cast well and truly embodied these characters and I had the best time in Kringletown. Cole & Storee’s banter was top notch and it was so sweet seeing them being back the Christmas spirit within each other. My favourite part though aside from the competition and seeing our main couple fall in love, had to be Cole & Max’s friendship. No one writes a bromance quite like Meghan and I adore them every time!

Highly recommend this book if you’re looking for a spicy, fun & festive good time!

Adored this audiobook!

Meghan Quinn does it again. Honestly, this woman writes the hell out of a rom-com. This was a Gilmore Girls-esque story about a sweet year round Christmas town with a tortured MMC and a rather irritating FMC (to start with) competing to be the towns Christmas Kringle. The banter was hysterical and the story, while lighthearted, had me hooked. The full cast narration was perfection. I’m a self-appointed grinch so Christmas really isn’t my thing but this book had me feeling the Christmas spirit 👏🏼 The spice didn’t start for ages and I wondered whether it was going to be a rather PG book for MQ but once the spice started, it was on! Shane East killed the narrator role. Defs recommend!

Banter ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A must listen to for the Christmasy vibes, the love / hate banter and the lovable, small town characters. I loved the grinch spin to the story as well 💚.
