"Fourth Wing will have your heart pounding from beginning to end ... A fantasy like you've never read before."—Jennifer L. Armentrout, #1 New York Times bestselling author
Enter the brutal and elite world of a war college for dragon riders from USA Today bestselling author Rebecca Yarros.
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders.
But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away … because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.
With fewer dragons willing to bond than cadets, most would kill Violet to better their own chances of success. The rest would kill her just for being her mother’s daughter—like Xaden Riorson, the most powerful and ruthless wingleader in the Riders Quadrant.
She’ll need every edge her wits can give her just to see the next sunrise.
Yet, with every day that passes, the war outside grows more deadly, the kingdom’s protective wards are failing, and the death toll continues to rise. Even worse, Violet begins to suspect leadership is hiding a terrible secret.
Friends, enemies, lovers. Everyone at Basgiath War College has an agenda—because once you enter, there are only two ways out: graduate or die.

Loved this!!
I found myself keeping so busy listening to this while I did chores, exercised, etc. found any excuse to do something just to listen to this!! So productive and can’t wait for the next one. Narrator was sick during some parts but I didn’t mind it, very talented. The male narrator at the end threw me off initially but was fine after a few minutes :)

Yasss😍😍
Really enjoyed this! The narrator was a little bit sick, but I really didn't mind. I actually didn't like how near the end it changed to the male voice. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind 2 narrators, but I like it throughout the story, and that is really my only complaint. Can't wait for the next book.

Don’t expect to get much done once you start this book.
I did not think I was going to like this book as much I did. Yes it’s not entirely original but the characters are likeable and the plot is quite fast paced. And the ending well, I am very annoyed now that I have to wait several months for the sequel.

Wow
I've literally been in a book slump for almost a year now. searching for my next fix, I stumbled upon this little beauty and how I was not ready to be lost in the world, that is, Fourth Wing.
now to wait fir the second installment because the ending left me teary eyed for our fallen soldier but gasping for air at the revelations.

poorly edited narration
great story but unfortunately the chopped up sentences and noises from the narrator were really distracting and pulled me out of the story pretty often. especially in the first half of the book.
