Why is it so long?
This book was so unnecessarily long. The back and fourth / relationship insecurities could have been solved in half the time. Have read plenty of other hockey books with similar themes that get to the point far quicker.
It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either.

Too long
Great story really I laughed and cried at times along the way but it did just go on for way to long. Narration was great 👌🏻

slow burn 🔥
great novel for the most part - the romance was fun, the chase was the best but the plot wasn't well structured... the narrators were awesome!

Loved listening to this book
I’ve previously read this book, so I wasn’t surprised by the storyline. I do think that hearing the story was different to only reading it. These narrators really brought depth to the characters and added to my enjoyment of the story.

Great audio!
The audio for this book was awesome, I loved reading it and absolutely adored listening to these narrators do their thing for the audiobook! Great choice for both Carter and Olivia!

Great contemporary romance, heaps of spice but unnecessarily long. Still a great story and Carter was so much better and swoon worthy.

♥️ hockey romance
This was an enjoyable read, but it definitely felt longer than it needed to be. Easily could have lost about 20 chapters. I almost gave up at the beginning because of how the male main character spoke about women (yikes), but I pushed through, and in the end, I’m glad I did. Despite the slow start, the story itself was worth it!

My favourite
I love that this wasn't a usual one and done story. They fell in love early in the book then took us for a ride through their journey of ups, downs, ins and outs. Yes, it could have ended ages ago like a typical HEA but I like that we finally get to enjoy after the HEA
