The Oswain Tales

Three children, Sophie, Josh, and Andrew find something very mysterious about an archway in their local park: It seems to have their own names inscribed on it. Going through the archway, they find themselves transported into another world, caught up in a battle to save the Forest of Alamore from the wicked crone Hagbane, who has stolen the Merestone - a magical stone that is essential to keep the forest alive.

Oswain's sister, Princess Alena, runs away from home wearing the Star Stone. She has no idea of its immense value or importance. Gublak, a sly goblin, wants the mysterious Star Stone for himself.

Surin's mighty army is preparing for war. Zarbid, his chief sorcerer, has given the king his long-awaited opportunity to take vengeance on the south. Oswain and his kingdom will be destroyed unless he can find the elusive Ice Maiden. She is the only one with the power to protect his vulnerable realm. It will be a race against time as Oswain sets out on a dangerous journey into Surin's home territory.

Joshua, Sophie, and Andrew are transported once more into Oswain's world of Caris Meriac for this the fourth dramatic adventure of their young lives. To the north, spring has not come and the Great Forest of Alamore is freezing over. In the south, whole frozen villages have been robbed of their children. There are rumors of a mysterious woman with the gift of music and a desire for revenge.

Trees are being destroyed by monsters. A giant highway scars the land as Feldrog's mighty army advances on the Great Forest of Alamore. Oswain has disappeared, and the forest folk are in rebellion as old enemies reappear. Only the secret Guild of the White Eagle and those sheltering in the enchanted glade remain true.
