The Chronicles of Shadow and Light

A prophecy of murder. An elf hunted by dragons. One man who risks everything to save her. Nachal is a human that should not be having prophetic Dragon Dreams. But he does. Having barely escaped from the Plains of Fire with her life, Auri follows the pleas of her father and sets out for the safety and knowledge of the Dragon Masters. Once there, she hopes to immerse herself in their training and become the decisive edge that Terradin needs to stop Obsidian and his Rebels. But before her journey has even truly begun, someone dear to her is ripped away from her. Reeling from the loss, and with Terradin growing ever darker around her, she is forced to make a terrible decision that will have lasting repercussions.

As the winding up days of the great and final battle commence, old alliances come to the fore, new alliances are strengthened, and their world of shifting light and dark becomes more hopeful as the numbers of the Luminari and those that follow the Dragon-King Cerralys continues to grow stronger. And then suddenly the unthinkable happens, and Auri discovers a secret so brutal that it shatters everything she knows. Everything she is.

End-game. The point in chess where the last piece falls. Except, for Auri and those she loves, she is determined that it will be Obsidian and his armies who fall. To this end, she has brought all of the power she wields to bear. All of the combined power of dragons, men, dwarves, animals, and elves, all join together in a clash that will determine the destiny of Terradin...and the destiny of the souls who dwell there. Then the tide of battle suddenly turns, and she is on the run from not only Obsidian and his armies, but also those she loves most dearly.
