Sheriff Jerry Burkley Stories

Jerry's Story is the first novel in the Sheriff Jerry Burkley series. Jerry Burkley is a Deputy Sheriff in a fictional town and county in Wyoming. Jerry and others tell about his military experiences in Vietnam as a Warrant Officer Helicopter Pilot. Jerry meets, among other interesting people, an Army Officer who becomes President of the United States.

Tunnel Secrets is the story of an orphan whose parents were killed in an airplane accident, who found comfort, security, and a new family in an abandoned mansion in Caribou, Wyoming. Jerry Burkley and his deputies find the lost little girl, recover a stolen military computer system, and help elect the next president of the United States.

A crooked judge, a corrupt congressman, and a secret organization, are part of a puzzle involving the assassination of a federal law enforcement officer. Jerry Burkley, Sheriff of Banner County, Wyoming, investigates. A young girl, a sheriff's patrol dog, and a southern lady help solve crimes. Side stories provide color and humor to the story.

In this story, Jerry Burkley discovers the history of his ancestors in Banner County, Wyoming. Billy Grubb was the first to homestead along Piney Creek. Billy, Fred (a retired Army sergeant major), and Sarge's lovely daughter form the C-G ranch with Jerry's cattle and Sarge's local knowledge. C-G fights outlaws, Indians, and the weather. They survive as a team.
