Secret Worlds

Gabriel Hudson, my savior, isn't letting me leave his mansion and I don't know why; not that I mind all that much. He's got short dark brown hair and the most intense blue eyes I've ever seen—anyone could drown in them. My problem is that he keeps looking at me like I'm a midnight snack; not that I mind a hot guy wanting to hook up with me, but my alarm bells are ringing and I really should listen to them.

I thought everything was going well in my life, until the phone call my father received; since then, I've been itching to meet my older brother, but not sure how to approach him. Flying from Austin Texas to Chicago Illinos isn't easy for me, I don't like flying; I had booked a hotel, but before I even get to it, I'm attacked by what looked like a rabid beast.

I didn't expect to be attacked mere weeks into moving, but I was. I was saved and thrown into a world I never thought existed. If that wasn't enough, I nearly shit my pants in a hospital bed (if I was wearing them), because this gruff, asshole vampire, growled at me. Apparently, he's part of the Vampire Summons and doesn't like bystander humans, knowing about their existence. And to top all of this off...I think the bastard is tailing me.
