Rebel Skull MC Series

When I was ten, I was a naïve, shy girl. A girl who dreamed of sunsets and roller skates. Until my grandparents died. Then I found myself alone in the world. One bad thing after another seemed to find me but I dealt. I dealt because a man with a black leather jacket and ink from head to toe, told me how to survive this world. He told me that, sometimes, you have to get mean. And so, I embraced my mean. I hated it at first but as time went on, being mean became second nature.

My world consisted of a web of tangled lies. It was show room perfect, an illusion. One I wanted desperately to escape. Then, fate intervened and revealed something new.

It was for a time. I was the Rebel Skull’s cherished and protected little MC princess. My childhood was storybook perfect. In my world, nothing bad existed. My days were spent on the back of my dad’s bike or playing in the woods with my grandfather. Together we battled bad guys and slayed dragons. And then tragedy struck. I didn’t know that there were bad guys in real life. Dangerous ones with no moral compass.

My angel mom gave me the best family. An entire club actually. Best of all were my grandparents. They even moved to a nearby farm to be closer to me. They didn't get to watch her grow up, so they weren't about to miss anything with me. But my grandfather passed a few months ago and now I think my grandmother might be losing her mind. She thinks she has woodland fairies. So when she decides to move to town, I breathe a sigh of relief. I thought it was a great idea, until she tells me that I've just inherited the farm. This isn't going to work. I'm not known for staying in one place.

When I was a little girl, I was rescued by the president of the Rebel Skull’s daughter. I’ll never forget the day she brought me to the warehouse. To me, it looked like a castle. I remember thinking how fortunate she was to live in such a magical place, and to have a family—a dad. I got lucky that day, because her father decided to take me in. He eventually adopted me, making Jesse and I real sisters.

Being adopted by Big Dan and Lily was the equivalent of winning the lottery. When they found me, I was like a dried-up plant that had been neglected. My leaves were brittle. My roots stunted. They took me in, pruned me, planted me in nutrient rich soil, and began to water me daily. But as I grew, as all cared for plants do, I slowly began to outgrow my pot. The place that had once felt so comfortable, began to press in on me. It had become so familiar, I decided I didn't want to leave.
