After ten years together, Jeremy “Jem” Creed and his wife, Crystal, are looking to give their marriage a fresh start on Paradeisos, a mysterious island off the coast of Oregon. What they find is stranger than they could have imagined: the locals are named after Greek gods, horned thugs lurk in back alleys, and the women are strangely friendly.

This time, they have software that can give them anything they want, the monsters aren’t hiding, and there is a new mystery—Elsie Dorrance, a beautiful heiress, is missing, and someone called the Queen of Chains seems to have taken her. To find Elsie, they’ll journey to FarWind, a fantasy world rich with adventure and intrigue. There will be music, laughter, and even a dragon to slay. Plus, there’s a queen who might be evil, and an emperor who holds life and death in the palm of his hand.

Jem, Crystal, and Ruby have found themselves trapped in a world that may or may not be real. However, one thing is clear—their music is the key to unlocking the secrets that keep them captive in a reality beyond their understanding. Back on Paradeisos Island, there's a new building—the Temple of the Morning Sun—but it's locked up tight. To get inside, Jem and his wives will have to journey to distant galaxies, fight killer insect aliens, and try to find a lost starship beyond the edge of the universe.
