Celia Jorgens is a reporter from Chicago. Traveling to Australia, she's chasing the story of a lifetime, and a scientist she thinks might have answers to stop the deadly Kite virus that's ravaging the globe.Tango and Doc are part of the Drunk Monkeys elite special ops unit. They've been given a mission, to bring in the scientist and use the reporter to find him. Save the world by finding the scientists who created the deadly Kite virus. When they track a doctor to India's clinic, they find more than they bargained for in the feisty, resourceful nurse. But an unknown traitor still lurks in the shadows.

Stacia Rooney is worried her older brother is being brainwashed for a suicide mission by the Church of the Rising Sunset. When she has a run-in with the Drunk Monkeys, they unfortunately agree with her assessment. Quack and Lima think it might already be too late to help Stacia's brother escape whatever evil project Reverend Silo has cooked up, but they need her help to get more information. They suspect it's part of a larger plan to spread the deadly Kite virus across the United States.

Dolce Quinn is a former sniper and military mechanic trying to find and rescue her friends now that Los Angeles is coming apart at the seams. She teams up with a neighbor and formulates a plan to avoid the riots and Kite virus, but they still have to escape the city safely. The Drunk Monkeys have a line on another doctor from The List. When Roscoe and Niner try to rescue the doctor, their plan almost goes to hell in the face of an oncoming mob until Dolce steps in and saves their bacon.

Gia Quick is an LA sheriff's deputy in Santa Clarita. She gets an emergency promotion to station chief after Kite, riots, and earthquakes bring the region to its knees. She knows the only solution to keep rioters and Kiters out is to blow the freeway and give citizens time to escape.

Capt. Kyong Tran is an orphaned pilot stuck in limbo at a base outside of Seattle, with a plane and no crew. Their presumed deaths during LA's fall weigh heavily on her conscience, as does the mysterious death of her beloved brother. Despite initial missteps, Kilo and Foxtrot fall hard for the gorgeous, feisty pilot. The unit needs her - and her plane - to move the scientists and their precious research to a hideout in Florida. Meanwhile, they're still scouring Seattle for a Kite-infected woman who might hold the key to a vaccine.

Donna's eating her lunch and minding her own business when a case of mistaken identity puts her squarely in the sights of Rev. Silo's hired guns. Now she's on the run and in hiding with the Drunk Monkeys. Victor and Uni aren't sure about the clueless bank teller at first...until she proves to them how invaluably smart she really is. They can't release her until they find the real hacker posting incriminating evidence about Rev. Silo's shenanigans. And even then, they might not want to.

Shasta Myers has had to be the strong one in her family. As a county traffic signal computer programmer, she doesn't make a lot, but she refuses to compromise her morals for a quick buck as a black-hat hacker. Then her world implodes. Juju, Delta, and some of the Drunk Monkeys are in Houston to shut down another of Silo's Kite labs. So when they barely stop the adorably unprepared Shasta from stumbling into a potentially deadly situation, it's not difficult for the two men to fall hard and fast for her.

When two mysterious hunks interrupt her desperately needed nap, she's not exactly upset. Then they offer her a chance to help save the world. Uncle and Zed must steal mission-critical supplies from a nearby hospital. They didn't intend to meet the exhausted but gorgeous doctor.
