Dragon Rising

John Devonte looked to the outskirts of the Draconic Empire for refuge. After adventuring for the past two decades–hunting monsters and collecting coin–he thought the town of Vismuth would provide some solace. Except what he discovered there was the beginning of the end. The Deadlands have come to life, and out of them pour bestial creatures that will devour all in their path. Luckily for John, he’s discovered that he’s a True Dragon. Not only that, but he can use the magic of Soul Gems, and with them, create his Wargear out of the beautiful women who fight alongside him.

John Devonte now calls Vismuth home, and he’s not willing to let it go so easily. He’s armed with his beautiful Wargear women, and the blood of the True Dragon flows through his veins. But will his newfound power be enough? Or will John and his women find their beloved town ravished—or worse, will the bond between them be torn asunder?

John Devonte and his Wargear have a new home in the Deadlands. The Deadlands have been sealed by the Draconic Emperor's scalemancers. The only way for John and his Wargear women to survive is to penetrate the heart of the Deadlands and find the "Omphalos," the navel of the world. Whatever power lies there, John isn’t sure, but the Draconic Emperor is willing to kill for it. If John can find it first, he might just find himself with the power to rival anyone else in the world.

The final battle between John Devonte, the True Dragon, and Vanqueur Hellsbane, the false Emperor, is here. Together with his beautiful Wargear, his women who can transform into formidable weapons, John is going to rid the world of Hellsbane's taint. And he might just become emperor himself in the process.
