Dig Deep

Construction work isn't any sort of calling for Ethan Loeb. He gets the job done, cashes his check, and spends his free time volunteering at the retirement home his elderly mother lives in. He knows he comes across as big, gruff, and grumpy, but right now, he doesn't much care. Until him. When Mark Weaver's car dies too far away from the work site for him to walk with his polio-damaged legs, can he accept help from a big, burly construction worker with a secret heart of gold?

I'm a simple guy. Give me a beer, a tailgate, and some sunshine, and that's 'bout all I need to have a great afternoon. 'Course, I'd be a little more likely to have great days in the first place if things weren't getting a little out of hand at my work site. We’re supposed to be constructing condos, not waiting around for some scientists to dig out prehistoric bones! It's us versus them. Construction workers vs nerds. Me...versus him.

I know he doesn’t like me....and I don’t really care. A while back, we started construction on a bank of condos...except when we started digging, we didn't just hit dirt...we hit dinosaur bones. And then came the science geeks, obsessing over digging out "the specimen" and "preserving history". Only thing is, for every day they're still invading our worksite, it's another day where we aren't getting paid nearly enough. So yeah, they probably think I'm a loudmouth and a rebel rouser...and they might be right. But I've got bills to pay. Debts to clear.
