Demigoddess Chronicles

I always thought the gods were a myth. Then again, I thought the same thing about witches. I'm no stranger to darkness. I've been dealing with it all my life. That's just part of being a "mutant psychic". But when my witch powers start to manifest, my life takes on a new direction entirely. Suddenly, I’m recruited by the Shadow Order, a supernatural agency dedicated to the protection of the covens. My primary task? To read supernatural crime scenes. Trust me, at that point the word “dark” takes on a whole new meaning.

I used to think the scary part would be finishing school and finding a job. Then again, I also used to think I was human. Getting hold of the first talisman nearly killed me, so I'm not exactly pumped about starting round two. But if I understand the Empyrean Witch rules correctly, I either claim all three talismans or die trying. Still, it’s not like I have a choice as the power of the Dark Coven keeps growing. Word on the street is that more and more witches keep flocking to join them. Soon, it looks like my Shadow Order team might just be onto something.

So far I’ve claimed two of the Morrígna talismans and been branded with two new magical runes in return. There’s no doubt that my powers are growing stronger, as well as merging with Cassie’s and Autumn’s. Still, while we’ve won a few battles, the dark goddesses sure seem to be winning the war. The only thing left to do at this point is to evacuate what’s left of the witch community to secure locations.
