Someone...or something...is stalking the citizens of Miami. First, the chief of the triage morgue at Dade County Hospital is strangled; the skulls of two homeless men are crushed under a highway overpass, followed by drug dealers, frat boys, and workers at a local diner brutally bludgeoned. Detectives Issy Ruiz and Andy Molinaro can find no motive, no clues, and no links among the victims, just a description of four muscular young men with fixed eyes and stiff gaits as though animated by some otherworldly force.

This fictional story tells of tainted drug studies and side-effect coverups by two pharmaceutical giants. As innocent people have been severely injured by their drugs, one of which is still on the market, the protagonist confronts these giants by defending his patients as a forensic expert in lawsuits against these companies. Their ruthless team of lawyers will stop at nothing to quiet any noisemaker. It isn't until the Russian Mob gets involved that things get very messy.

There are numerous controversies in our world today. Unfortunately, our printed, broadcast, and social media outlets do us a disservice by their bias and slanted discussions. This series of podcasts will address medical and non medical controversies from a fact based perspective and point out the misleading perspectives of the aforementioned media. Many of the controversies I will discuss concern topics that many don't want to approach. We will discuss such topics as gender identity, the misnomers of Native American and African American terminology, and explore the definition of an "expert".
