Here are more than 60 heartwarming stories of faith. These are stories about the true gifts of Christmas: answered prayers, real-life angels, and inexplicable miracles. They are the stories of people who gained a greater understanding of the true meaning of Christmas, some through a word or gesture from their fellow man, others through a miraculous event that could only have come from God.

This collection of poems grew out of the Covid-19 pandemic. They reflect how our everyday experiences were turned upside-down, shaken out, and landed in a very different world. A world where much of what was taken for granted, no longer held true. A world where so much of normality was stripped away, revealing what was superfluous. Revealing the essential, the most basic of our needs. Often the simplest of things. Such as touch. Each of the poems is followed by a glimpse behind the scenes. Shining a light onto the sometimes moving, sometimes amusing inspirations behind them.

A stranger emerges out of a brilliant dawn. His appearance is rough and dangerous. His touch starts to change the world. factory breaks down and the sea erupts. A prisoner escapes and runs to his victim. A youth is stopped with her knife. A Covid nurse drags herself from her shift. A young woman faces pregnancy while an old man faces death. And the town where they all live is being ripped apart. Some of the people are happy, while others are scared. Is the stranger there for good or bad? And is everything all as it seems?

Suzie is passionately in love with Taryn. Unable to join him on holiday in Peru, she longs for his return. But as the COVID pandemic worsens, Peru goes into lockdown. She struggles to make contact, but he’s never been a great communicator at the best of times. And then she discovers what’s been posted online.... It appears that, far from being locked down, Taryn is getting about just fine. In fact, he's having the time of his life in his tropical paradise hideaway. And far from socially distancing, he’s enjoying the company of a beautiful new friend.
