John Edwards was an avid collector of antiques. He would travel all over the United States to find unique antiques and anything else that most collectors would pass on. John was happy with his collections but he was looking for something his friends would say find intriguing. John found himself traveling through a little town called Pleasantville. Ted always dreamed that someday he would be a ventriloquist and that day finally arrived on his 50th birthday. One of the Hill's brothers got into a fight with the other brother.

When Johnny was a little boy, he would hang out with his father in their morgue which had been in the family for many generations. Johnny's father never let little Johnny in on the family's dirty little secret. Johnny's father felt that now was as good of a time as any to let Johnny in on the family's dark past since he had reached the age where his father told him.
