Tobias Uhl, Chef der Online-Apotheke Saarlouis, ist erschlagen worden. Der Verdacht auf Brandstiftung bestätigt sich bald, aber die Identität des Toten in der Bibliothek gibt Krämer und Paquet Rätsel auf - genauso wie Johann Burger, der Leiter der Bücherei.

Da wird Norbert Gessner, früher Bergmann in Zellersweiler, ermordet in seiner Laube aufgefunden. Am Vortag noch hatte Gessner den Direktor des neuen Kulturzentrums massiv unter Druck gesetzt, um die Kolonie zu retten.
