เรื่องเริ่มต้นที่เจ้าหญิงเงือกน้อย หลงรักเจ้าชายรูปงาม จึงไปขอพรจากนางแม่มด ให้ตัวเองมีขา เพื่อจะได้อยู่เคียงข้างเจ้าชาย หลังดื่มน้ำยาเปลี่ยนร่าง เสียงของเธอหายไป และถูกนางแม่มดตัดลิ้น

เรื่องราวของสายลม ซึ่งมีเรื่องมากมายที่มันจะเล่า มันขับร้องออกมาเป็นเสียงดังบทเพลงท่ามกลางมวลไม้และป่าเขา ได้ยินเสียงลมจากที่แห่งนั้นหรือไม่ ลองนั่งฟังเรื่องเล่าที่มันกำลังจะเอ่ย ให้สายลมนั้นบอกเล่าเรื่องราวของมัน เกี่ยวกับ วาลเดมาร์ ดา และธิดาทั้งหลายของเขา สายอาจเล่าเรื่องราวผจญภัยมากกว่าเราทั้งหมดรวมกัน ลองติดตามฟังกันดูว่า วาลเดมาร์ ดา คือใคร ธิดาของเขานั้นต้องพบเจอเรื่องอะไรบ้าง และในที่สุดแล้วเรื่องราวจะลงเอยด้วยดีหรือไม่ !!

นานมาแล้วยังมีพ่อค้าคนหนึ่งที่ร่ำรวยมหาศาล ขนาดที่สามารถนำเหรียญเงินมาปูตรอกซอกซอยที่อยู่ต่อจากถนนได้จนเต็มต่อมาเมื่อเขาตายลงลูกชายของเขาก็ได้สมบัติทั้งหมดไป เขาออกเที่ยวเตร่ทุกคืน จนในที่สุดเงินที่มีก็หมดลง เขาเหลือติดตัวเพียงเพนนีเดียว มีเพียงเสื้อคลุมและรองเท้าแตะเก่าๆ เพื่อนพากันตีจาก ทว่ามีคนหนึ่งซึ่งยังมีใจกรุณาได้ส่งกระเป๋าเดินทางใบเก่าๆ มา และมันเป็นกระเป๋าที่แปลกประหลาดที่สุด เพราะมันบินได้ ในที่สุดกระเป๋าก็ได้พาเขามาถึงดินแดนของชาวเติร์ก และได้พบกับเจ้าหญิงแสนสวย… มาติดตามฟังกันว่าชายหนุ่มจะทำให้เจ้าหญิงประทับใจได้อย่างไร

นายทหารคนหนึ่งกลับจากสงคราม และได้พบกับแม่มดแก่หน้าตาน่าเกลียด ผู้บอกกับเขาว่า เขาจะร่ำรวยถ้าหากปีนเข้าไปในต้นไม้ และนำกล่องเชื้อจุดไฟมาให้กับนาง ภายใต้โพรงไม้นั่นเอง นายทหารได้พบกล่องที่เต็มไปด้วยเงินทองมากมาย ใบหนึ่งถูกเฝ้าโดยหมาที่มีตาใหญ่เท่าถ้วยชา อีกใบถูกเฝ้าโดยหมาที่มีตาใหญ่เท่ากังหันลม และอีกใบถูกเฝ้าโดยหมาที่ตาใหญ่เท่าหอคอยแห่งโคเปนเฮเกน
