George's issue of, "Cowboy Love Tales" has arrived. Gracie Allen wants to join a literary club, telling Mrs. Randolph that George is the great-grandson of poet Robert Burns.

George is worried about their neighbor, Joe Bagley. Joe sells his television set to Gracie, George thinks Joe is going to replace him in the act with Gracie.

George meets guest Eddie Cantor in the cigar shop and invites him home for dinner.

The real estate wrangling of Beverly Hills most brilliantly befuddled wife finds the Burnses bunking with various members of the cast, occupying a janitor's apartment, and even living seperately at the YMCA/YWCA. All's well that ends well...but, until then it's hilarious!
