Sherlock Holmes & Dr. Watson können ihn dabei tatkräftig unterstützen.

In einem Hotel kam ein Gast durch einen Treppensturz zu Tode und zwei weitere verschwanden einfach. Das ruft nach Sherlock Holmes, der mit Dr. Watson inkognito Ermittlungen aufnimmt. Sie treffen schräge Gäste und widerborstige Roboter.

Die Union beauftragt Sherlock Holmes und Dr. Watson mit der Aufklärung eines seltenen Phänomens: Auf Kepler-47c scheint sich eine Zeitschleife gebildet zu haben. Bei der Ankunft in der Außenstation erfahren sie zudem, dass ein Professor verschwunden ist und für tot gehalten wird. Holmes bringt das Verschwinden des Mannes mit der Bildung der Zeitschleife in Verbindung, doch scheint bereits in ihr festzustecken.

Die Galaktische Union hat auf dem bewohnten Planeten LHS 3154-b Menschen ausgesiedelt. Ein Vermittler namens Winblad soll zwischen den Einheimischen und den Zugezogenen vermitteln, doch er kommt unter mysteriösen Umständen ums Leben. Sherlock Holmes erklärt sich bereit zu ermitteln.

Eine reiche Dame kommt eigens an Bord der Ultimo-1, um Sherlock Holmes zu beauftragen, ihre Zwillinge von einem Mordverdacht zu befreien. Alle Anzeichen sprechen für die Schuld der beiden Minderjährigen. Das weckt Holmes' Interesse und er nimmt den Auftrag an, bei dem er wie so oft von Dr. Watson tatkräftig unterstützt wird.

Sherlock Holmes wird mit Dr. Watson auf eine Raumstation geschickt. Dort soll er einen Androiden unter Menschen finden. Die Schwierigkeit dabei ist, dass dieser ein, dem Menschen täuschend ähnliches, gefährliches Exemplar ist, das zudem über geschärfte Sinne verfügt. Doch auch Holmes' Sinne sind übermenschlich.

Aufgrund bevorstehender gefährlicher Mission der Ultimo-1 wurden Sherlock Holmes und Dr. Watson vorübergehend auf einen felsigen Exoplaneten ausquartiert. Alles scheint friedlich, doch plötzlich ereignet sich eine Explosion! Natürlich muss Holmes herausfinden, wer warum dahintersteckt.

Die charmante Lura aus der Buchhaltung fleht Sherlock Holmes an, ihr bei einer Familienangelegenheit zu helfen. Ihre reiche Tante scheint entführt worden zu sein. Als sie zusammen mit Dr. Watson in deren Haus eintreffen, wird Lura selbst der Tat verdächtigt, denn das Erbe ist erheblich. Doch dann drängt sich Holmes ein unglaublicher Verdacht auf.

Die Zeit drängt und nicht alle Bewohner zeigen sich hilfsbereit.

Der Billiardär Elton Musketier hat es geschafft, einen Exoplaneten in die habitable Zone seines Sterns zu verschieben. Auf dessen Oberfläche bietet er nun zahlenden Gästen an, ihre Wut auszutoben. Leider kam es dabei zu merkwürdigen Zwischenfällen, die Sherlock Holmes und Dr. Watson aufklären sollen.

Auf dem Exoplanet Wolf 1069 b ist ein honoriger Bürger unter merkwürdigen Umständen ums Leben gekommen. Er wurde von einer Kopfgeldjägerin aufgrund eines falschen Steckbriefs erschossen. Sherlock Holmes soll nun - wie immer von Dr. Watson unterstützt - der Sache auf den Grund gehen.

His Last Bow: The War Service of Sherlock Holmes, later titled His Last Bow: An Epilogue of Sherlock Holmes, is one of 56 short stories about Sherlock Holmes written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
