‘Planet B’ is a virtual world with the slogan 'where you can be whatever you want to be.' Users can download themselves into it and play as a life-size avatars in a 3-D world. When Lioba Fielding dies in the real world, her boyfriend John Armstrong downloads himself into Planet B in an attempt to find her avatar. As he travels between various worlds he becomes entangled in an array of strange scenarios, teleporting from each adventure to the next with his companion Medley, a 'rogue avatar' who has no human controller.

English explorer Travers is determined to track down the mythical Abominable Snowmen which are said to roam the Himalayas. When the Doctor and his companions visit the nearby Detsen monastery they discover that the Yeti are all-too prominent. In fact, they are out to kill anyone who comes near. With Travers' help the travellers discover that the monastery is in the grip of the evil Great Intelligence, a disembodied force which has taken control of the High Lama....

Many years ago, on a dark and stormy night, the disfigured and enigmatic Dr John Smith invited his closest friends, Inspector Victor Schaeffer and his wife, Jacqueline, to a dinner to celebrate his birthday. A few hours later all the occupants in that house had been changed - ­some were dead, others mentally scarred forever by the events of that night. Furthermore, the console has detected Time spillage: someone or something is tampering with Time! Such experimentation could not only damage the Space/Time continuum but destroy the past and future history of the Universe. The Doctor and Peri board the craft to investigate.

Patrick Troughton plays the second Doctor in this four-episode adventure from 1967, set on Earth's moon and featuring a return appearance by the emotionless Cybermen. The year is 2070, and the Earth's weather is controlled by a device called the Gravitron which is under threat from a plague epidemic and the Cybermen.

Tom Baker stars as the fourth Doctor in this double-bill of adventures, in which he's ably assisted by Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah-Jane Smith.
