This is a story of hope. It is my personal experience of childhood sexual abuse and its impact on me from childhood through to adulthood. It details how I used alcohol and drugs as a means of coping with the long-lasting harm of abuse and its impact on my life. It describes my journey down the destructive path of addiction until finally, with the loving support of my family, I was able to disentangle myself from the grip of alcohol and drugs and live free from the debilitating harm caused by childhood sexual abuse.

This is Dr. Rickey McCray's personal story about how he forgave and reconciled his relationship with his father after years of abuse, disappointment, and betrayal. The journey to forgiveness was long, hard, and full of obstacles and disappointments. He found out he would have to fight with everything he had for a relationship he once desperately ran away from.

He used manipulation and control to force the young girl’s mother to perform some of the most Unthinkable and Unforgiveable acts on her. He did everything possible to dime that young girl’s light. For Eleven years she was his sex slave who did whatever he told her to do.
