Story
In 2003, for the first time since the Second World War, the UK took part in an opposed invasion and full-scale occupation of a sovereign state - Iraq. Cabinet decided on 17th March to join the US-led invasion of Iraq. That decision was ratified by Parliament the next day and implemented the night after that. In June 2009, Prime Minister Gordon Brown ordered an Inquiry to be conducted to identify lessons that could be learned from the Iraq conflict. This audiobook is an unabridged reading of that report's executive summary.

Story
FNH audio presents a reading of the revolutionary military guide on how to handle and run a counterinsurgency. Gen. David Petraeus saw a need for new updated manual on how to actually wage a counterinsurgency (COIN) conflict, as all existing military manuals were showing their age and out of sync with modern thinking. With experience in Iraq and Afghanistan, he was able to construct the new definitive guide from actual experience and with reference to previous conflicts.

Story
People face appearance-based discrimination on a daily basis, at work, in schools and in public spaces. In addition, a decade of soaring social media use, increased exposure to online advertising and a persistent and pervasive diet culture mean that concerns about the way we look start younger, last longer, and affect more people than ever before. In 2020, the UK Government commissioned an inquiry into how negative body image effects people's lives and what factors lead people into having a negative body image.

Story
Britain was encouraged to participate in the second Gulf War by the publication of an intelligence report that suggested that Saddam Hussein could attack the UK with weapons of mass destruction within 45 minutes. When the WMDs failed to materialise, the original report was questioned, it was suggested in parliament that it had been "sexed up" as a way to scare the UK into war. Ann Taylor (MP) led an investigation to determine if the the public had been misled, and this is what they found.
