This is a short book of poetry that was born out of the strangest corners of my mind. It is a cesspool of uncomfortable imagery and frank introspection. Some of the ideas go to dark places that only a select group of people might relate to. I myself have felt like a completely different person when coming up with a lot of the material.

Fallen Angels is the marriage of a thrilling tale of good versus evil with a purposeful coming-of-age narrative. Filled with twists and turns and battles, the story will delight listeners seeking both action and substance. The characters are keenly aware of their status as agents of good or evil, and in a sense, the author has created a heavenly superhero series to encourage listeners that no matter what life throws at you, you can still get through it as long as you keep your faith in God and in yourself.

As a collection, Backblock Ballads and Later Verses was first published in 1918 and includes the notorious mock anthem, "The Austra-laise".
