ربما هذه المرة نرى مذكرات بهاء طاهر على هيئة مقالات رصد فيها الثورة وسنة بعدها، في أحد أشد أوقات التاريخ المصري خطورة، بحد وصفه، ولا يدعي الكاتب العظيم أنه يملك في هذا الكتاب ناصية الحكمة. ولكن بهاء طاهر، الذي قام بتوزيع أجزاء روحه على تلال رواياته السابقة المختلفة، ربما نرى هذه المرة نفسه وقد التأمت بعد سنوات الشتات والضياع.
