Story
Here is a very funny, very silly collection of questions and answers taken from this column, none of which has any basis whatsoever in fact. This is a must for all those who relish a heady mixture of shaggy-dog stories, toilet humour, and utter lack of insight.

Story
If F. Scott Fitzgerald was the hero of the Jazz Age, Edna St. Vincent Millay, as flamboyant in her love affairs as she was in her art, was its heroine. A winner of the Pulitzer Prize, Millay was dazzling in the performance of herself. Her voice was likened to an instrument of seduction, and her impact on crowds and on men was legendary. Yet beneath her studied act, all was not well.

Story
Carol Berry and her husband met and befriended Henri Nouwen when she sat in his course on compassion at Yale Divinity School in the 1970s. At the request of Henri Nouwen's literary estate, she has written this book, which includes unpublished material recorded from Nouwen's lectures. As an art educator, Berry is uniquely situated to develop Nouwen's work on Vincent van Gogh and to add her own research. She fills in background on the much misunderstood spiritual context of van Gogh's work, and reinterprets van Gogh's art in light of Nouwen's lectures.

Story
Hi! I'm Dean, a teenager with way too much free time in the summer. I discuss Greek mythology in a format where I know everything and the guest knows nothing. I then find our topic or similar things in pop culture, occasionally play a game with the guest, and have a generally good time.

Story
This is a podcast devoted to reading and enjoying poetry from the classics to contemporary forms of the craft. We keep it brief with episodes that are rarely longer than a 15 minute run time. The aim is to inspire those who read and write poetry no matter what level of either (or both) they practice. The title is from one of Carl Sandburg's Definitions of Poetry: "34. Poetry is a phantom script telling how rainbows are made and why they go away." Presented by Vincent Hostak. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
