  • Summary

  • Growing up on a farm, Tessa developed a keen appreciation for the hard work that goes into food production and an aversion to waste in all its forms. After an impressive and international corporate career, she got "sick and tired of not being inspired" by herself, and started to tune into the problems she wanted to solve in the world. Her lightbulb moment came when she was moving between countries and was struggling to find anyone to give perfectly good food from her pantry to. A few "smuggled" boxes of non-perishables later, Olio was born. The platform now connects almost 4 million users who give away food and other household items to their neighbours (for free!), creating community and connection along the way. Join me and Tessa as we talk about how to "Fight waste. Help your neighbours. Save our planet. Feel amazing!"
