• How to Become a Visionary: The Power of Walking in the Spirit: Part 5
    Sep 23 2022

On today's podcast we're going to talk about How to Become a Visionary: The Power of Walking in the Spirit: Part 5

Let's begin today's teaching with a foundational text. Matthew chapter 4 verses 1-11 in the World English Bible read,

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 When he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was hungry afterward. 3 The tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

4 But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth.’”

5 Then the devil took him into the holy city. He set him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6 and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written,

‘He will command his angels concerning you,’ and,

‘On their hands they will bear you up,

so that you don’t dash your foot against a stone.’”

7 Jesus said to him, “Again, it is written, ‘You shall not test the Lord, your God.’”

8 Again, the devil took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 He said to him, “I will give you all of these things, if you will fall down and worship me.”

10 Then Jesus said to him, “Get behind me,[a] Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.’”

11 Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and served him.

First of all, you can see that the devil is a flesh devil. He is not spiritual. He didn't even know that Jesus was the Son of God. He had to ask Him in verse 3; “If you are the Son of God.”

Secondly, the devil asked Him in verse 3, “to command that these stones become bread.” The devil was looking for a physical or fleshly sign.

The number one principle of becoming a Visionary or a Christian Is that you have to win the battle in your spirit before you can manifest it in the flesh (Gal 5:16).

Remember Our motto: Believe the Word, Speak the Word and Manifest the Promise. Your battles are won in the Spirit before they are one in the flesh.

So, before you give somebody a piece of your mind, remember it's better to be silent. Before you quit your job remember it's better to endure. When you desire to act in the flesh remember it's better to pray. This is how things work in the Kingdom of God. And before you know it your vision will come to pass.

  • How to Become a Visionary: The Power of Faith: Part 4
    Sep 15 2022

On today's podcast we're going to talk about How to Become a Visionary: The Power of Faith: Part 4. So let's get started.

You must believe in your vision so much that you see it already completed before you even start. This is the Power of Faith. Hebrews chapter 11 verses 1-3 states in the World English Bible,

Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen. 2 For by this, the elders obtained testimony. 3 By faith, we understand that the universe has been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen has not been made out of things which are visible.

The same kind of faith God is asking you to have is the same faith He has according to this verse. God created the world through His thoughts, Words and faith. And this is how he wants you to create your world, through thoughts, words and faith. The world English Bible states in Hebrews 11:6,

Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

In order to be your most successful in life, You must believe in God, Believe your vision comes from Him and believe this by faith. Please share this podcast with others. We want to take them on this same faith journey.

We never like to close our program without giving you the opportunity to make Jesus the Lord of your life. Would you pray with me? Say, Lord Jesus I repent of my sins, come into my heart, I make you my Savior and Lord. Friends, if you prayed that prayer, I believe you got Born Again. Keep God first place in your life. • How to Become a Visionary: The Power of Belief: Part 3
    Sep 7 2022

On today's podcast we're going to talk about How to Become a Visionary: Part 3. So let's get started.

In our first program, we talked about the Power of a Plan. In our second program, we talked about the Power of Thinking, and this program we're going to talk about the Power of Belief.

Let's begin in Genesis chapter 11. verses 1-9. It states in the World English Bible,

The whole earth was of one language and of one speech. 2 As they traveled east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they lived there. 3 They said to one another, “Come, let’s make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they used tar for mortar. 4 They said, “Come, let’s build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top reaches to the sky, and let’s make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad on the surface of the whole earth.”

5 Yahweh came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built. 6 Yahweh said, “Behold, they are one people, and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do. Now nothing will be withheld from them, which they intend to do. 7 Come, let’s go down, and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So Yahweh scattered them abroad from there on the surface of all the earth. They stopped building the city. 9 Therefore its name was called Babel, because there Yahweh confused the language of all the earth. From there, Yahweh scattered them abroad on the surface of all the earth.

Now the reason that God scattered them on the surface of Earth, that's another whole sermon, and we may even talk about that in our next program. But I want to look at the verse where it says, Now nothing will be withheld from them which they intend to do. And that's the power of belief. That's the power if you have a vision, and you believe in that vision, nothing will be withheld from you which you intend to do. So remember believe your vision and you will achieve your vision. Please share this podcast with others. We want to take them on this same faith journey.

Now I never like to close the program without giving you the opportunity to make Jesus the Lord of your life. Would you pray with me? Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins, come into my heart. I make you my Savior and Lord. Friends I believe you prayed that prayer with me, you got Born Again. Please keep God first place in your life. He’s going to take you places you never dreamed. • How to Become a Visionary: Part 2
    Aug 30 2022

On today's podcast, we're going to talk about How to Become a Visionary: Part 2.

    1) Outside the Box Thinking.

At the end of the last podcast, we began to speak about outside the box thinking, and this is what you do when you can't find a mentor. You can't find somebody who's already gone, where you're trying to go to help you to get there. And these are some of the best ideas that you could ever think of because these are things that actually a lot of times manifest their destiny. You see in First Corinthians chapter 2 verses 14-16, in the World English Bible, it says,

14 Now the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is judged by no one. 16 “For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?” But we have Christ’s mind.

    2) The Mind of Christ

You see, now if you're a Christian, you should have better ideas than the non Christian because you have the mind of Christ. It's been said that thinking is one of the most profitable things you could ever do. Look at Jeff Bezos from Amazon. He goes to work every day and thinks about what are we going to do in the next three years for Amazon. He doesn't even run the company anymore. Everyday he goes to work and plays. This is what we are going to do in the next three years? And these are similar things that Elon Musk does from Tesla, they create all these ideas because other people are running the company.

    3) Thinking is one of the most profitable things you can do.

So thinking is one of most profitable things you can ever do. And one of the best ways to do this outside the box thinking is just write an idea on a sheet of paper, you know, just write it out. And then you draw all kinds of lines extending from it, and you start to write other ideas about how you can manifest this business idea or whatever idea you're trying to manifest. And these are some of the greatest things that you can do. So remember, let's think outside the box, you have the mind of Christ. Now I never like to close the program without giving you the opportunity to make Jesus the Lord of your life. Would you pray with me? Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins come into my heart. I make you my Savior and Lord. Friends, I believe if you prayed that prayer you got Born Again. Please keep God first place in your life. He’s going to take you places you never dreamed. This is Robert Welsh for BlogwithJesus.com saying, you can live a victorious life. I will see you on the next podcast. Blessings!

  • How to Become a Visionary: Part 1
    Aug 26 2022
On today's podcast, we're going to talk about How to Become a Visionary. Most of us have a dream, something that we want to do in life. And if that doesn't come to pass, we tend to get down. The Bible says, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick" (Proverbs 13:12, WEB). 1) You Have to Believe the Vision for Your Life. Well, the reason your dream probably hasn't come to pass is when you have that vision for your life, you also have to believe that vision for your life. And if you don't believe that vision for your life, what you have to do is speak that vision. And the more you speak that vision, the more you believe that vision. And the more you believe that vision, the more you will speak that vision. 2) You Have to Plan for Your Life. The next thing you got to have is a plan. And some of us our dreams are so big. We wonder how can I ever make that work? Well, let's say you want to become a nurse. Well, many people have done that, actually millions of people have done that. So what do you have to do? You have to go and find out where are the nursing schools in my in my area where I live? Okay, what do they require for me to get admitted? Okay, once I'm admitted in nursing school, do I need to find a study group? Do I need to find a tutor? Do I need to find some books on how to have better study habits in order to develop a plan. And before you know it, you'll be a nurse. But let's say you want to make six figures. Let's say you want to sell life insurance. You want to be a six figure life insurance salesperson. Well, how would you go about doing that? Well, you might want to meet with somebody who sells life insurance who makes over six figures. And ask them how they have done that. Then you want to develop your plan. 3) You Have to Think Outside the Box for Your Life. And some people might have bigger goals, they might want to be, let's say the next Jeff Bezos or the next Bill Gates. Well, there's not that many people out there like that. So, it's gonna be much harder to find somebody like that and find out how they made it happen? But what you can do is, a lot of times when our goals are that big, we tend to think outside the box. And actually they are much easier to reach than you think. Because once you get in that position where your mind thinks outside of that box outside the box, you're going to make different decisions and take certain risks that you wouldn't normally take. And those risks will pay off. So, if you want to become a visionary, first you got to have a vision. Next you have to believe in the vision. And lastly you have to have a plan. If you follow that path before you know it, you will be living the life of your dreams. Now I never like to close a podcast without giving you the opportunity to make Jesus the Lord of your life. Would you pray with me? Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins, come into my heart. I make you my Savior and Lord. Friends, I believe if you prayed that prayer you got Born Again. Please keep God first place in your life. He's going to take you places, you never dreamed. This is Robert Welsh for BlogwithJesus.com. Remember, You can Live Victoriously. • PRESS ON toward the GOAL
    Dec 3 2021
I remember in 2009, I was taking my second class in The Graduate all Christian Ministries program. I decided to do my final paper on the Old Testament Covenant. I thought this would be a great idea because I didn't know very much about the topic and writing a paper on the subject would be a great way to learn about it. Because I did come to graduate school in order to understand the Bible at the highest level possible. This topic entailed more detail than I ever thought possible. I probably bit off more than I can chew. And the professor was An Old Testament scholar. When I received my final paper, I had a grade of a D-. Thankfully, I had A’s on all the other assignments in this class. This allowed me to receive a B- in the class. I took the next semester off because my mother had become ill and needed help with her care. But when I went back to school, I decided to use this paper as an example about not to do a research paper. I got an A on every single Paper I did after that and one B. This reminds me all of Philippians 3:13-14, Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do: forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (World English Bible). So, When bad things happen to you, use them as a stepping stone and not a stumbling block. Stay positive and keep going after your dreams. Remember to share this podcast with others. • ATTITUDE of GRATITUDE
    Nov 27 2021
I remember a time in my life when I would wake up in the morning and my attitude would be: “oh God it's morning” instead of thank God it's morning. Yet, the small practice of taking a moment to say 3 to 5 things that I am grateful for really began to make a difference. This practice changes your mindset for the day and brings a positive vibe to those around you. You'll begin to see how much better you are in things you do everyday. And it will help you to achieve your goals and dreams for the future. So, It looks like things aren't going your way, just take a moment to say what you're thankful for. This reminds me of 1 Thessalonians 5:18, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus (New International Version). Remember to share this podcast with others. • ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD
    Nov 19 2021
I remember in the Year 2008, I felt that God was calling me to go back to school for my masters in Christian Ministry. So, my wife and I began a three-day fast in order to confirm that we were hearing from God about this. Three days later after fasting, we agreed that God was calling me go back to school. I decided to attend Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana because we had heard good things about this college from a Christian Missionary we had met. After attending Bethel for about one year, I decided to transfer to Luther Rice in Lithonia, Georgia in order to pursue a Master of Divinity. But two years into the program, I felt God was calling me to leave school in order to pursue work in the Ministry. However, all of the classes I had taken would not qualify for a degree from Luther Rice. Yet, all of the classes I had taken would qualify for a Master of Ministries degree at Bethel. So, I petitioned Bethel College for readmission into the Master of Ministries program. Bethel agreed to readmit me into the program. After taking two classes I would be eligible for graduation. I completed the two classes and graduated with my Master of Ministries Degree in 2013. This story reminds me of Romans 8:28,We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose (World English Bible). So, step out in faith and do the thing that you feel called to do. Because if that's not it, it will be the thing that leads to it. Please share this podcast with others.
