You’re Never Too Old to be Your Best with Dena Anne Weiner

  • Summary

  • Ice skating, gymnastics, fitness competitions, and ballroom dancing, all played a part in keeping Dena Anne Weiner young. She began competing in fitness in her 30s, and over 16 years she did 85 fitness shows. She was always the oldest by 15-20 years, and would often hear that she couldn’t win because of her age. She would go on to prove everyone wrong in a big way, winning the Fitness America Pageant at the age of 43, the oldest woman to ever do so.

Three months before her 50th birthday, Dena would lose one of her sons in a tragic car accident. With two other sons and a husband she needed to be there for, Dena knew she had to rely on the mental and emotional aspects of fitness to stay strong. She was able to grieve through dance and continued work on her mindset. Dena uses stretching, meditation, and journaling daily to maintain her best self. Just three years ago she reunited with her first love of ice skating after a 50-year hiatus, and at the age of 60, she’s never felt better.

    What You’ll Learn:

    • Why you should keep a food journal.
    • How to fall correctly.
    • Why, on average, people die within 3 years of retiring.
    • What Dena’s secret to ageless living is.
