Welcome to a new episode of Ye Olde Dragon's Library storytelling podcast!

Season 11 features a new scene every other day from an upcoming release.

PENELOPE'S STORY relates how Penelope, cousin of Helen of Troy, met and married Odysseus, king of Ithaka, and hero of THE ODYSSEY. And more important, explores why she waited 20 years for him to come home from the Trojan War.

This book was previously released as THE DARK ONE, through LTD Books, and then THE DREAMER'S LOOM, from Amber Quill Press. It has been out of print for years, but is being re-titled and revised and re-released because of the popularity of EPIC: THE MUSICAL.

What is EPIC about? What else? THE ODYSSEY put to music, with animation. It's brilliant. Go check it out for yourself -- and then come back every other day for a new scene.

    NEWS!!!

This book will be released on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited and Amazon KDP paperback NOVEMBER 1.

Soon after, the complete audiobook will be available in wide distribution, wherever you prefer to buy your audiobooks, and eventually appear as a deluxe edition hardcover.

Check The PENELOPE page at YeOldeDragonBooks.com for updates on the process.

  • Season 2025, Episode 10 Neighborlee Visitors Guide, ALLERGIC TO MISTLETOE, by Michelle l. Levigne
    Oct 1 2025

    Send us a text

    Welcome to Neighborlee, Ohio.

Neighborlee is a place you need to experience.

The most important thing you need to understand: Neighborlee is magic. Some people say the town is alive. It exists to protect the weird and wonderful (and sometimes a little bit scary) from the cold, practical, material world.

More important, Neighborlee protects the outside world from the weird and wonderful that come to visit … and sometimes come to stay.

Each month of 2025, we focus on 1 book in the Neighborlee series. You'll hear the first chapter of the featured book here, and can purchase it at a discount on YeOldeDragonBooks.com, in print, e, and audio. Plus there will be excerpts throughout the month on MichelleLevigne.blogspot.com, inside information, a chance to ask questions, and pop quizzes to earn points toward free books. And other goodies and fun stuff once we think of them!

Plus, if you've read any of the Neighborlee books and posted a review, email us at 2OldeDragons@gmail.com and give us the link, and you'll earn even more points toward more Neighborlee books.

    This month's featured book:

    Allergic to Mistletoe

Christmas in Neighborlee means magic. This year more than ever. The Fae have come to visit. And hide. And seek true love.

Lori is allergic to mistletoe, thanks to a traumatic encounter with Dickens. She comes to Neighborlee to hide from matchmaking relatives.

Bethany just wants a quiet Christmas with her dad, but her rising stardom is getting in the way. Her double magical heritage just complicates things.

Harry might be able to help her, thanks to a malfunctioning invisibility spell.

Wilfred and Philomena are best friends, have been for centuries, and want to be much more. Do they have the courage to admit it to each other?

Then there's Maurice. The terms of his exile interfere with his courtship of Holly, the librarian who can only see him in her dreams.

They all need a Christmas miracle.
