Wrap Around Love

By: Barbara Robinson & Janine Wegner
  • Summary

  • The Wrap Around Love Podcast shares the story of Barbara Robinson, her family, and friends, set against the backdrop of the city of North Omaha, Nebraska. Her story, and the story of many in North Omaha, is one of childhood trauma, abuse, and addiction cycles. It brings understanding to how one can make choices that others find hard to understand, across a racial and economic divide. But ultimately, Barbara's story is one of redemption, as she experienced the Wrap Around Love of friends - and most importantly - Jesus! Wrap Around Love is an inspiring movement that calls each of us to respond with empathy toward one another, and to BE the Wrap Around Love for those whom God puts in our paths.

  • Out of Omaha Episode 11
    Apr 15 2021

In today's episode, Janine shares about a powerful documentary called Out of Omaha. Out of Omaha shares the story of Darcell and Darell Trotter. These are the older brothers of Charles, Barbara's son who is currently in prison convicted of murder.

This documentary gives a real insight into what life is like for people living in North Omaha. We believe that it's an important film to watch, especially if you are following along in the Wrap Around Love story. You can watch Out of Omaha on Amazon.
