Won't You Be My Neighbor Day - Welcome To The Neighborhood

  • Summary

  • Won't You Be My Neighbor Day is a celebration that takes place every March 20th. The day is dedicated to honoring, appreciating, and celebrating the late Fred Rogers, who was the beloved host of the preschool TV series "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood". The show aired from 1968 to 2001, and even though it hasn't been broadcast in the last 21 years, it still holds a special place in many people's hearts. In fact, some still consider "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" as the benchmark for all other children's programs. The show is so iconic that those who grew up in the '70s and '80s undoubtedly remember watching Mister Rogers travel to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and sing songs with his puppet friends.
