Hikers are also catered, there are a number of Mountains that can be hiked to the top such as the Rwenzori Mountains, Mount Elgon, and Mount Sabinyo, Mount Muhabura, Mount Gahinga which are part of the mighty Virungas and many more. A visit to Ngamba Island is remarkable, this Island is a sanctuary to orphaned chimpanzees.
