  • Episode 23 - Georgia Attlesey - Digesting Culture with Pudding
    Mar 7 2023
This episode is from the Who’s Next pre-pandemic archive from August 2019. Georgia Attlesey is a creative producer whose mission is to make big ideas more accessible through culture. Georgia is a self-described ‘culture omnivore’ and founder of Pudding, a post-event forum for audiences to digest what they’ve seen on stage. Georgia’s passion for culture is completely infectious. Although nearly four years on, her discussion about making art more accessible, meaningful, easier to digest and inclusive is just as relevant to the world today. I hope you enjoy hearing about Georgia's mission to demystify the arts sector and feel inspired to check out something new! • Episode 22 - Maddy Warren - Queen of Dialysis
    Oct 18 2021
There hasn’t been an episode for a little while, so today’s episode is a little longer than usual! It was recorded pre-pandemic with the incredible force of determination and resilience - Maddy Warren who was nominated by Deena Gornick in episode 18. Maddy is a consultant, TEDx speaker, skydiver, kidney patient advocate and she has been on dialysis for 23 years after experiencing kidney failure at the age of 14 and she has the amazing self-appointed title of Queen of Dialysis. Over the course of our conversation, I learnt so much from Maddy, not only about kidneys and self-dialysis but about courage, independence, community, resilience and not giving up on what’s important to you, regardless of the hurdles that may get in the way. I felt so inspired by Maddy and in awe of her ability to reframe even the most monumental of challenges and setbacks and I hope you will too. You can find out more about Maddy by following her on Instagram or Twitter @queenofdialysis and searching for her TEDx talks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxhbkn4H02U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcsLEzpY6mo Backing music: by "RSPN" by Blank and Kytt courtesy of Free Music Archive http://freemusicarchive.org Follow @whosnextpoduk on Twitter and Instagram for more details!
