Dr. Rene Cintron is joined by Dr. Christy Montgomery, Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, Diversity, and Inclusion at Northshore Technical Community College, Christy Montgomery (no relation) and Sophia Dixon Brown from The Wellspring Alliance.

There are many reasons people decide to become community college transfer students. Some take advantage of the smaller class sizes by getting their prerequisites out of the way before transferring to a 4-year university. Others are current University students looking to take a couple community college classes on the side. On this episode of the What's Next Louisiana podcast, Dr. Rene Cintron is joined by Dr. Randall Brumfield and Dr. Lupe Lamadrid from the Louisiana Board of Regents and alumni Jessica Hood (Northshore Technical Community College) and Genesis Sanchez (South Louisiana Community College) to discuss what it means to be a transfer student.
