    Welcome to the weekend safety brief for Aug 12th-18th, the 5-minute or less podcast all about what is going on in Tyler and East Texas. Activities for the Veteran and Veteran family to get them out of the house and into the community.

    Sat Aug 14 East Texas State Fair farmers market, 7-9 am at the fairgrounds,

    Sat Aug 14 Rose City Farmers market, 8am to noon at East Texas Brewing at 221 S Broadway Ave.

    Sat Aug 14 Cherokee Craft & Trade Fair 10am – 4pm, at 707 College St. Jacksonville, Texas Free admission - when you bring a canned good and/or toiletries for local Hwy 69 Mission. We have vendor that have handmade crafts, baked goods, authors, jewelry, artist with their creations, clothes and so much more

    Sat Aug 14 Veteran and Family introduction to archery,9am-5pm CampV campus hosted by the Green Zone The purpose of Enable, LLC is to alleviate barriers in opening opportunities for people of all walks of life to learn about Shooting Sports, and to teach from beginners all the way up to National level competitions as well as create inclusive environments in which everyone can thrive despite any disability. This is a FREE event so come on out and learn all about archery.

    Tue Aug 17 Rally Point at the Green Zone at CampV. Come on out for lunch and hang out with other veterans and community members. This is a free event and all you need to do is show up.
