  • On this episode of the podcast, Andy and I talk about the 1989 Academy Award winning film "Rain Man", starring Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise. Also winning the Academy Award for this picture for Best Director, Barry Levinson tells the story of autistic savant(Dustin Hoffman) Raymond Babbit as he is taken across the country by his brother Charlie(Tom Cruise), so the self centered Charlie Babbit get claim his part of his fathers estate left to Raymond. What unfolds is a heartwarming tale of two brothers bonding, and Charlie learning how to truly car for people for the first time.

    Both Cruise and Hoffman deliver amazing performances in this film. Hoffman receiving the Oscar for Best Actor, along with numerous other awards.
