  • Ruby was bullied by a client and lost the desire to continue her career. She then took control of her life
    Jan 30 2021

Being a ghost writer, Ruby gores through an intensive process of 6 months where she commits her life for that time period for a single client.  She throws herself to her clients, mostly memoir clients, where she gets to know her clients sometimes better than they know themselves.  But, when one of her clients bosses her around and bullies her, she then questions if continuing her career is worth it all, she was ready to give it all up.  And she did – for a little bit.

In the quitting, she worked with her hands to reconstruct her house and in taking time off from her brain powered job, she started a new career in marketing, publishing, and editing books.  She then went off to write a very successful erotica fictional book and has created choice for herself versus having to take any client that might disrespect her.

The best that could have happened to her career – bumping to a client that bullied her which forced Ruby to start a new business with many different channels that allows her to select her clients versus having to rely on whatever came her way.  This very difficult client forced her to do what she always wanted to do.

‘Don’t expect people to cheer you on when you make a decision or stand up for yourself, but know making yourself happy it’s your first and biggest priority’
