  • WIKIPEDIA AND ANOTHER PERSONAL HERO: AMELIA EARHART

Today's episode of TALK JAM features two jams, one on current events, the other another personal hero of Susan's, aviator Amelia Earhart.

In Jam 1 we talk about Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia, which is not always accurate, but which recently sent Susan an email soliciting funds. Listen to her defiant response!

In Jam 2 we talk about another personal hero of Susan's (and about whom she wrote a book long ago!)--Amelia Earhart, the 20th-century aviatrix who set records and had daring adventures until her luck ran out on a round-the-world flight in 1937. She has never been found, and there is no satisfactory explanation for what happened to her.  But it's great fun to speculate...

Today's TALK JAM is sponsored by the study guide for OVER MY DEAD BODY, the brilliant Biblical thriller by Kelly Fitzgerald Fowler. If you want to use the novel to create a Bible study, Kelly has created the perfect guide for you! Check it out here:
